I watched the special last night on Peter Jennings. It was incredible. I don’t know who I will turn to for my national news. He has been the only anchor at ABC for me. It will be strange to see someone else at the anchor desk. He was the best of the big 3 (Tom a close 2nd with Dan follow up the rear). As I read somewhere yesterday, my parents had Walter Cronkite, I had Peter Jennings. It is so true. He made you feel like you part of the story. He wanted to care about what he was reporting. I for one will miss him.
