Congratulations to Kevin Harvick for the sweep at Phoenix.
Mark had the car to beat, but a mishap in the pits I felt cost him the victory. After running out of gas at the end, including several other cars, he finished 11th.
Several others were knocked out of contention early due to other drivers’ messes, including Elliott Sadler. Of course, I am not one to do the happy dance when someone gets in a wreck, but I felt some glee when Newman and little Shrub wrecked. Oh darn!
Next for the boys–TALLADEGA! Seems they are requiring the cars to have a softer front bumper. This is supposed to slow down the bump drafting thing majority of the drivers have been “voicing their concerns” about. Some might think about bump drafting, but you know there will be those regardless of the bumper who will bump draft. We shall see this weekend.
Good luck boys!
