Go fast…turn left…don’t crash!

Well, looks like Yates is cleaning house. Slugger Labbe AND Tommy Baldwin crew chiefs for the #88 and #38 cars respectively were fired by RYR. Butch Hylton who has been working at RYR since June will take over crew chief duties for the #88 car this weekend. Charles “Cully” Barraclough will take over crew chief duties for the #38 car this weekend as well. Barrablough has previously worked as crew chief in the Busch Series for Matt Kenseth and Denny Hamlin. So I am hoping this is a good sign for Elliott.

Once again we will all have to watch and see how this plays out of the next few months.

  1. Press conference by Yates on Friday at 1:15 regarding teams…
    I do not have a good feeling about what may transpire.
    Sure wish Elliott would announce his plans. Somehow, his taking “the high road” in all of this is not paying off yet. He’s in a pit of vipers right now.
    Let’s hope it all works out for the best………
