Also…congrats to the “other #8”–Barbaro for winning the Kentucky Derby.

I guess it was a #8 kind of day.

Kevin dominated most of the night leading a total of 272 laps, but finished third. So cheer up Kevin…it’s sometimes about big picture racing.

Tony ended up finishing 6th. I felt he stuggled somewhat during the race, but finished up nicely. This puts Tony right behind Jimmie J. in the points standings. Here’s Tony with his pet monkey, Mojo, on pit road right before the start of the race.

I found the new white chocolate MMs today. Not too bad…I like white chocolate, but I still prefer the original ones best. Did anyone see Kenny Wallace interviewing Elliott Sadler on Race Day? Was it me or was the red MM with the pirate hat standing behind them during the interview was just barely shorter than Kenny? It was just an observation I made!

Elliott will go “10 Laps” with Chris Myers on Sunday during the prerace stuff….and go vote for Elliott in Fox’s Sexy Driver Contest. Elliott is against Jeff G. this week. I just looked…Jeff is ahead. I guess people just don’t get it. UGH!!!!


I still don’t get how Jimmie beat out Tony…I think and this is my opinion..Tony is way sexier than Jimmie.

on another note…penalites were handed out this week to a few fellas. Harvick, Stewart and Burney Lamar lost 25 driver points while Delana Harvick lost 50 owner points and Richard Childress lost 25 points. Crews chiefs for Stewart, Lamar, and Harvick were put on probation and fined. Watch that equipment boys!

Today is the National Day of Prayer and finals at Texas Tech started today for all the little students—coincidence? I think not!

Can it be? Can it be that Kevin Harvick and RCR have made a deal to keep Kevin with RCR?

Press conference scheduled for Friday to announce the contract extension that will keep Kevin with RCR.


On another note…Jamie McMurray’s show car was in town. Didn’t even know it until I drove by our mall and saw it parked in the lot…i took a couple of pictures sinceI didn’t get any at TMS.
